Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies
Trail Rides in Waterton Lakes National Park
Waterton is where the open prairie meets the towering Rocky Mountains, creating one of the most unique and photogenic landscapes in the world. Expect pristine rivers and lakes, colourful geology, abundant wildlife, and panoramic vistas at every turn.
Your all-inclusive adventure begins in Calgary, where you’ll meet your fellow riders and board our private bus for a scenic drive south. Along the way, enjoy a guided visit to the acclaimed Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, an internationally recognized Indigenous museum sharing the deep history of the Bison and the First Nations of the plains.
Upon arrival, saddle up for your first ride with Alpine Stables. Our host guides will accompany you throughout the trip. Their experienced wranglers will lead you to high-alpine lookouts, peaceful lakeshores, and sweeping mountain passes. On hot days, you will have the chance to swim and refresh in cool pristine glacier lakes up high in untamed mountains.
Each evening, return to the comfort of our ranch-style home, savour Chef-prepared meals, and unwind with fun, hosted activities.
On the final morning, a last trail ride—and a final set of breathtaking views—wraps up your unforgettable week before we transport you back to Calgary.
