Each camping ride is limited to 12 to 15 riders and the lodge ride to 6 riders.  Registrations are processed in date order.  If a deposit is not received within 10 days of submitting a registration, then the next registration will be given booking preference.

For non-exclusive rides (not listed above, please call us): These rides will be different than our normal ride processing and payment. The rides are not exclusive to the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies (TRCR). Other guests will be on the ride. Your registration will be forwarded to the Outfitter for processing. The Outfitter will contact you, verify availability and collect the ride fees. TRCR will collect the membership fees separately and you will be eligible for membership certificates, pins, calendars and other benefits (e.g. discounts at the store and other rides). If you cancel for any reason, the Outfitter cancellation policies would apply to the ride fees and TRCR cancellation policies would apply to the membership fees.

Challenging, rustic, and rewarding!

Just as our photographs couldn’t capture the majesty of the mountains through which we rode, it’s impossible to adequately describe the TRCR experience in a “snapshot” review. In July of 2017, after much anticipation, I rode with my two sisters on a six-day adventure. The trip exceeded my expectations in every way. Once my initial anxiety over riding again was quelled, I was free to enjoy vistas only accessible by hiking or on horseback: wildflower-rich prairies, breathtaking peaks, glacial tarns, ever-present wildlife, and awe-inspiring vantage points. The company was congenial, the food hearty and delicious, the cultural and historical lessons amazing, the fun contagious, and the experience…absolutely memorable. I recommend it unreservedly.
