Payments by Interac (email)

An Interac e-Transfer is a fast, secure and convenient way to send money to anyone in Canada from within the security of your online banking service. It uses email for fast notification to the recipient that a transfer has been sent.

At the moment the Interac e-Transfer is available for transfers between Canadian financial institutions. See the FAQ link below which will have a list of the participating institutions.

Basic Process

  • Login to your online or mobile banking at a participating financial institution
  • Choose Interac e-Transfer within the Transfer/Payment menu options
  • Select a recipient by entering an email address: Enter the name as “Trail Riders” and use the Administrator’s email address of admin@trail-rides.ca  There should be no security question or password required as the Trail Riders has automated the deposit. NOTE that the Trail Riders does not support the text messaging option for Interac. Only email can be used.
  • Fill in the Interac e-Transfer information (dollar amount, account from which to withdraw the funds and optional personal message
  • Follow the instructions to confirm the information and complete the transfer

Challenging, rustic, and rewarding!

Just as our photographs couldn’t capture the majesty of the mountains through which we rode, it’s impossible to adequately describe the TRCR experience in a “snapshot” review. In July of 2017, after much anticipation, I rode with my two sisters on a six-day adventure. The trip exceeded my expectations in every way. Once my initial anxiety over riding again was quelled, I was free to enjoy vistas only accessible by hiking or on horseback: wildflower-rich prairies, breathtaking peaks, glacial tarns, ever-present wildlife, and awe-inspiring vantage points. The company was congenial, the food hearty and delicious, the cultural and historical lessons amazing, the fun contagious, and the experience…absolutely memorable. I recommend it unreservedly.
