Signature Ride for 100th Anniversary

Join the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies for their celebration of 100 years of riding in the Rocky Mountains.  Ride on scenic mountain trails that are unchanged from 100 years ago.  Stunning mountain heights, pristine lakes, tumbling streams and rivers, and unique teepee camps are all yours to behold for a unique, special mountain experience.

We will be riding and camping for 5 days inside the iconic Banff National Park. The camp will on Bryant Creek, surrounded by mountains, with day rides to Mount Assiniboine, Allenby Pass, Marvel Lake, and/or Owl Lake.

NOTE: This is likely the last time the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies will be allowed to use this location and ride in this area, based on a new 10-year park plan that came into effect in 2022.

The rides will start at Boundary Ranch in Kananaskis Country.

Challenging, rustic, and rewarding!

Just as our photographs couldn’t capture the majesty of the mountains through which we rode, it’s impossible to adequately describe the TRCR experience in a “snapshot” review. In July of 2017, after much anticipation, I rode with my two sisters on a six-day adventure. The trip exceeded my expectations in every way. Once my initial anxiety over riding again was quelled, I was free to enjoy vistas only accessible by hiking or on horseback: wildflower-rich prairies, breathtaking peaks, glacial tarns, ever-present wildlife, and awe-inspiring vantage points. The company was congenial, the food hearty and delicious, the cultural and historical lessons amazing, the fun contagious, and the experience…absolutely memorable. I recommend it unreservedly.
