New Entertainment

We are pleased to announce that the TRCR has contracted its hosting and music duties to two entertainers that we know you will enjoy.

Bradley Bischoff

Bradley Bischoff is a founding member of “The Wardens.” Riding horseback patrols as a National Park Warden began in 1981 for Bradley. He was stationed in the rugged and remote South Boundary, in Jasper National Park’s Brazeau District for seventeen days at a time. For the next thirty years, Bradley has worked in Parks from Nunavut to Newfoundland to the Pacific Ocean. His diverse career which includes working as a farrier, ranch manager and teacher are reflected in his songwriting.

Brad, his wife Debbie and their two daughters live in Canmore, Alberta.

Brad will share original songs and stories about the history and traditions of Canada’s National Park Warden Service. Superb musicianship, haunting vocals and chilling tales from a man who spent his career in the most rugged of all places; Canada’s Rocky Mountain National Parks. True tales from this “Man for the Mountains” and great campfire sing-songs in our Doughnut tent.

“The quintessential mountain-culture concert experience.”
Jamie Bliss, Kootenay Mountain Culture Magazine
“Yours is the best all-encompassing show I’ve ever seen. Visual, musical, knowledgeable and truthful. My attention and enjoyment never wavered.”
Terri Mason, Editor, Canadian Cowboy Magazine

Brad will be the Emcee and musician for rides 1 (July 17 – 21) and 3 (July 31 – Aug 4)..

Larry Krause

Larry is from Paddockwood, Saskatchewan and has been a headliner for Grandstand shows, performed on the mainstage at major Country Music Festivals, played for international trade shows, has been featured on television specials, entertained around the fire after a long Cowboy day, and just about everything in between. Repeat invitations to be a Feature Artist at major Cowboy Poetry Gatherings, Western Music Festivals all across Western Canada, Community Hall Concerts, as well as the Calgary Stampede, speak very well of the following his prairie based original music has developed. Larry has released three albums; “True Blue”, a Western album, “The Gate is open”, an SCMA Award winning Country Gospel album, and his most recent release, “Northern Range” that hit the ground in the summer of 2010, to very favorable reviews on both sides of the border. Country radio across Western Canada, Europe, Australia and the USA, regularly plays songs from his CDs. His down to earth, standup performance style and solid vocal delivery combined with his ability to bring the story in the music to life, make for a memorable and enjoyable entertainment experience.

Larry has heard about the TRCR for years from his neighbour, Lois Laycraft, a past President of our club and is looking forward to riding the trails with us. Larry’s wife Gail will join him on ride 4.

“I have always genuinely enjoyed your recordings, and I trust my CMN reviews, past and present, have alerted other people to your work.”
Larry Delaney, Country Music News
“Very entertaining, good story telling, everyone enjoyed the show. Some said could have listened for another hour. You are a very talented man with an amazing voice, and we WILL have you back.”
J.S.-Unity Ag. Society

Larry Krause singer and songwriter, will be joining us as Emcee and musician on rides 4 (Aug 8 – 12) and 5 (Aug 14 -19).

The July 24th ride will be hosted by club President Stuart Watkins and past President, Dennis Orr.
